About Us
Coastal Event Services was founded in 2014 by Sarah Walker, to provide local event management in South Devon, building on her background of corporate and hospitality experience.
"Back in 2003, I was working for Barclays Bank in London as a Personal Assistant and happened to mention to my boss that I wanted to get into events...a few weeks later I was guiding 200 delegates around an exhibition hall, armed with a branded t-shirt, walkie talkie and green umbrella. There was no going back! Since that day I have clocked up over 100 events; from weddings and charity balls, to 3-day exhibitions and pharmaceutical conferences for thousands of delegates. I've worked at the Tower of London, Ricoh Arena football stadium, hotels and conference centres across Europe and even at a Shangri’la resort in Oman. Whatever the occasion, the key to any event is planning, an eye for detail and careful management of your budget!"

Wedding Planner
Need help planning your big day? We offer three packages to suit your needs (see Weddings page).
All services include:
- Pre-Wedding consultation
- Create a schedule and floor plan
- Book/confirm all suppliers
- Facilitate wedding rehearsals
- Set up signage/decorations
- Act as onsite contact for venue and suppliers
- Assist wedding party/guests
Event Management
With fifteen years experience in organising over 100 events; from corporate exhibitions, conferences, weddings, family parties and charity fundraisers, Coastal Event Services can help you create your perfect event. If you have all the planning in place and need some extra hands on the day, we can also offer onsite event assistance.
Bookkeeping
Coastal Event Services offer a bookkeeping service for small businesses. Qualified Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting (2018) and Level 2 Certificate in Accounting (2017). Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage accountancy packages.
