Coastal Event Services was founded in 2014 by Sarah Walker, to provide local event management in South Devon, building on her background of corporate and hospitality experience.

“Back in 2003, I was working for Barclays Bank in London as a Personal Assistant and happened to mention to my boss that I wanted to get into events…a few weeks later I was guiding 200 delegates around an exhibition hall, armed with a branded t-shirt, walkie talkie and green umbrella. There was no going back! Since that day I have clocked up over 100 events; from weddings and charity balls, to 3-day exhibitions and pharmaceutical conferences for thousands of delegates. I’ve worked at the Tower of London, Ricoh Arena football stadium, hotels and conference centres across Europe and even at a Shangri’la resort in Oman. Whatever the occasion, the key to any event is planning, an eye for detail and careful management of your budget!”
